- Two ways in. Our Parow site is behind The New National Hotel — main entrance on Huguenot Street, with additional access from Jones Street.
- The site is watched. Access-controlled entry with individual tags and off-site surveillance.
- Some things can't be stored. No hazardous, illegal or perishable items. If you're unsure about something, ask us before moving it in.
- Arrange cover for your goods. Cape Storit insures the facility, but does not insure belongings stored inside your container. Please arrange your own contents insurance.
- Pay your way. Pay online by card, by EFT, or set up a debit order.
Ready to book? Reserve online and we'll email your invoice and storage contract. Your reservation is confirmed once we receive payment and the signed contract; unpaid reservations are cancelled after 24 hours.

What is self storage?
Self storage gives you your own unit for belongings you don’t have space for at home or work. You move your items in and access them yourself when you need them.
Can I access my storage unit at the facility?
Yes. You can visit your unit during your facility’s access hours. Check your chosen location for its specific hours and access arrangements.
What size storage unit do I need?
That depends on what you’re storing. Check out our storage calculator or tell us what you plan to put away, and we’ll help you choose a suitable unit size.
Do I need to book before visiting my container?
No. Self storage is self service, so you can use your own access tag to visit your container whenever you need to. At Parow, access is available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 365 days a year — weekends and public holidays included.
Can I bring my items directly to the facility?
Yes. With self storage, you bring your belongings to the facility and load your unit yourself.
Where exactly is the Parow facility?
Our Parow site is at 8 Huguenot Street, Parow Industrial, behind The New National Hotel. The main entrance is on Huguenot Street, with additional access from Jones Street.
What can’t I store?
Hazardous, illegal and perishable items are not allowed. If you’re unsure about a particular item, ask us before moving it in.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Our storage is rented month to month, giving you flexibility as your needs change. We offer both short and long-term rentals.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. Cape Storit does not take a deposit at any of our sites. You pay your first month’s rental, sign the storage contract, and move in.
Is insurance provided for the goods stored in my unit?
Cape Storit does not provide insurance coverage for the goods stored inside your unit. While we insure the storage facility itself, it is your responsibility to obtain insurance coverage for your stored belongings. We highly recommend that you secure insurance coverage to protect your goods against potential risks or damage. Please consult with your insurance provider to explore suitable options for insuring your stored items.
How do I pay for my unit?
We offer multiple payment options, including credit card payments online, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or setting up a debit order.
I want to reserve a unit. What are the next steps?
Whatsapp us, or you can complete the online booking process. We’ll email you an invoice and storage contract. Your unit is reserved once we receive payment and the signed contract. If payment isn’t received within 24 hours, the reservation is cancelled.
