Locating Our Midrand Facility

  • From the N1 (Northbound): Take the Allandale Road off-ramp, turn left onto Allandale, then right onto Old Pretoria Road. We're ~1km down on the left.
  • From the N1 (Southbound): Take the Allandale Road off-ramp, turn right over the bridge, then right onto Old Pretoria Road.
  • From Mall of Africa: We're a 5-minute drive—head east on Magwa Crescent, left onto Allandale, then right onto Old Pretoria Road.

Moving Facilities

What is valet storage?

Valet storage means we collect your goods, store them securely, and deliver them back when you need them — hassle-free.

Can I access my storage pod at the facility?

Yes, you can. Just book site access in advance so we can retrieve your pod from the stack and have it ready for you.

How do I arrange delivery or collection?

Use our online booking form to schedule a delivery or collection — simple and quick.

What are your access hours?

Monday to Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm. Outside hours available on request when booking site access.

How are the pods stored?

Pods are stacked and moved by forklift, so please secure your items inside. We can help with this if needed.

How big is each pod?

Each pod is 2m x 1.5m — typically enough for one room of furniture.

Can I store large or loose items?

Yes, large items can be stored separately and are charged per item.

Is insurance provided for the goods stored in my unit?

Cape Storit does not provide insurance coverage for the goods stored inside your unit. While we insure the storage facility itself, it is your responsibility to obtain insurance coverage for your stored belongings. We highly recommend that you secure insurance coverage to protect your goods against potential risks or damage. Please consult with your insurance provider to explore suitable options for insuring your stored items.

How do I pay for my unit?

We offer multiple payment options, including credit card payments online, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or setting up a debit order.

I want to reserve a unit. What are the next steps?

Simply go through our online booking process to reserve your unit. An invoice will be emailed to you, and once payment is received, your unit will be reserved. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the reservation will be canceled.

Is there a minimum commitment?

We offer a flexible month-to-month commitment. Simply provide a two-week notice when you're ready to end your storage agreement.
